Often times I receive a call from someone who has good, decent or just-ok cabinets. They want to give their kitchen a facelift but don’t want to go through the hassle and cost of a complete remodel. They wonder is it worth it? If your cabinets are decent or can be made decent with a minimal amount of work, I’d say yes. This is especially true if you plan to put your house on the market in the near future.
One job I recently completed is a perfect example of getting a brand new look for your kitchen on a modest budget. They painted their cabinets themselves, got new Caesarstone Ocean Foam counter-tops and white subway tile. Check out these before and after pictures.
They paired the new counters with a modern undermount stainless steel sink, new faucet and light fixture. All for a fraction of the cost of a complete remodel. It’s like night and day, right?
