If you’ve read my blog before you might’ve seen my post about replacing a Corian sink, model 903. You can read it here, 903 Corian Sink Replacement I recently got a call about this very same sink. It was cracked, leaking and needed to be replaced ASAP.
This sink was also in a splay corner as you can see in the picture below. The cabinet was the same size as my other customer, but this family really wanted a stainless steel under-mount sink. This opened up more sink options for them, so we began to look.
We found a sink that was slightly larger, but had the same configuration. It required my cutting the sink out and adjusting the cut-out to fit the new sink. This was a pretty involved sink replacement, and was a bit more money as the labor was so involved. However, it was still much less than a complete counter-top replacement and the out-come looked great!
My customer added a new faucet, soap dispenser and instant-hot (not shown in this pic). This replacement gave his 20 year old counter-top a new fresh look.
